The trick is knowing you...I agree totally Waffles. The trick is knowing your own game and how you can adapt it with new strategies and information. You have to be confident enough in your knowledge and skills to know what's bad advice, and what works for you. However one caveat is that different people suck. They may think they are good. But if they suck you could do yourself more damage by listening. Also some styles just do not work for you.
