Drama!

Let's recap recent drama:

- Some tool accuses Don and Tragedy of collusion in the last game of the Bodonkey. This doesn't even deserve further comment.

- Donkette does things that piss people off. Maybe the whole brood is in on it. Maybe not. I wasn't involved, so I can't offer any new insights here. But if the accusations are true, it's sad. It's also a hard lesson to those involved. Don't let it taint your view of the rest of our community though.

- Hoy plays under a different name on Bodog. Smokkee and Blinders are not happy. Waffles is defending Hoy. Bodog doesn't let Canadians play, so maybe I shouldn't comment. I mean, when me, Kat, Joanne, Fuel, Schaubs, PirateLawyer, BamBam and the Tuckfards, Bankwell, Pokertart, and others can't even SIGN UP, I feel a bit slighted. Can I start some drama about this?

- Speaking of Bodog, if Google's translator can be believed, it looks like Bodonkey winner Goldenhammer can't make the trip to the WSOP. Now THAT should stir up a bit of discussion. If a Canadian had won, they'd totally go.

Man, it's been so long since we had some good blogger drama, and now the dam bursts wide open! Weeeeeee!

Canadians can't play at Bodog. I can't play there either and I live in Minnesota, U.S.A. Last I check it was in the US, but has occassionaly been confused as being in Canada. I've UIGEAed out of Bodog. I'll join yourside on the drama.

As for the rest...excellent recap! Good luck in Vegas!

Wait a tick... "Canadians to take action"??? To arms,..?!" I didn't think Canadians did this type of thing. I thought you were all pacifists, or nihilists, or something.

I jest! I'm really not trying to stir up National "drama" here I swear.

Have a good weekend...

I just checked that goldenhammer blog and he mentioned that the $10k turned into 500 (not minutes like the translation page says). Not sure what he meant by it so I asked him if it would just go to the 2nd place. We'll see what he says. Where are all these Japanese bloggers coming from? Like how do they find this shit???

Ok, got his response:

One (1) GRAND PRIZE:
IF the winner wants to participate in the WSOP Main Event, funds for buy-in to the WSOP Main Event (10,000) and 2000 cash for travel.( Approximate retail ("ARV") 12,000);
OR
IF winner does not wish to participate in the WSOP Main Event, 2500 cash.(ARV 2500).

He meant 10k becomes $500 because essentially, the $2k is still the same. I wonder who the WSOP package goes to then???
